Pichincha is a quiet, very walkable area. Most bars, restaurants, and shops are just a few blocks away, so getting through daily life on foot is no problem at all. Public transport and taxis: A few blocks away, you'll find the city's main arteries: Salta, Santa Fe, and Córdoba, where numerous bus lines run, connecting you to downtown, the waterfront, bus terminals, and anywhere else in Rosario. Taxis and Ubers are plentiful in the area, and you can get one within minutes at any hour. If you're coming by car: From the outskirts, you'll arrive in about 20 minutes. The most convenient route is via the Avenida de Circunvalación, entering along the coast and heading up Bulevar Oroño to the building. Parking (key info): The building is on Alvear street. On Alvear and up to the 2200 block of the perpendicular streets (Catamarca, Salta, etc.), paid parking is in effect. But if you cross Alvear toward the Santiago side (away from Oroño), there's no paid parking – you can leave your car on the street for free and with complete peace of mind. Arriving at the apartment: Self check-in via electronic lock: you arrive whenever you want, no need to coordinate with anyone. Perfect if your flight, bus, or trip gets in late or very early.
